Privacy Policy
New Shirt Agency LLC (“New Shirt,” “we,” “us”) operates newshirt.ai (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve kept it plain on purpose.
1Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, email us, or call, we collect what you choose to share — typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and your message. If you become a client, we collect the information we need to do the work.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit we automatically receive some technical information — your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived. We collect this through our hosting platform and Google Analytics 4, using cookies and similar technologies.
2Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our providers use them to run the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the banner when you arrive, and manage them anytime in your browser settings. Turning some off may affect how parts of the Site work.
3How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and follow up with you.
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services.
- To operate and improve the Site.
- To send you information you’ve asked for or that’s relevant to our work together.
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4How we share your information
We don’t sell your information, and we share it only as needed:
- Service providers who help us run the business — for example our website host (Squarespace), Google Analytics 4, and our email and customer-management tools — who may use it only to provide their services to us.
- Legal reasons — when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where the law requires it.
5Third-party services and links
Our Site runs on Squarespace and may use Google Analytics 4; their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies. The Site may also link to other websites we don’t control and aren’t responsible for.
6How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here or as the law requires, and then delete or anonymize it.
7How we protect it
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
8Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. To exercise any of them, email us at legal@newshirt.ai and we’ll respond as the law requires.
California residents. You may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request that we delete or correct it, and to not be treated differently for exercising these rights. We do not sell or “share” your personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Other states and regions. If you live somewhere with its own privacy law, you may have similar rights — contact us and we’ll honor what applies.
9Children’s privacy
The Site is meant for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version here and update the effective date above.
